Midnight Gospel was released in April of 2020. It tackles serious, deep topics with insightfulness and a touch of humor. The trippy visuals help for deeper understanding of the topics, or otherwise an escape from these topics.
During episode 5 of the season, the main character Clancy goes to an alternate universe where the sims are so enraged with existential dread that they cut their own tongues out.
The packaging is fitted with a removable sleeve to preserve the box itself as part of the art toy experience, symbolising the various religious and spiritual concepts touched on throughout the episode.
